Couple’s kinky Valentine’s Day role-playing game works too well

Oregon’s sex game comes to a sticky end. From Nerve.

A Portland, Oregon couple spent their evening doing what every couple does at one time or another, namely, engaging in that one role-playing game where you tie up your naked girlfriend, cover her mouth with duct tape, place her in the back of your blue Suburu Legacy, then drive to several stores and try to achieve that “shock effect.”

probably didn’t look as good as this outfit

Welcome to the world of thirty-one-year-old Nikolas Harbar and twenty-six-year-old Stephanie Pelzner. The couple did all of the above and also thoughtfully brought a bottle of red wine along. Their game hit a snag when a witness in the New Seasons Market parking lot, not hip to the game, called the police to report a bound, naked woman in the back of a blue Suburu. To those not hip to the game, it tends to look like, I don’t know, a kidnapping or something.

Portland police ended up staking out Harbar’s home, and eventually found out that the guy driving the Subaru wasn’t a kidnapping psycho, just some dude trying to spice things up with his girl. Said North Precinct Sgt. Willie Halliburton, “They were real apologetic.” Halliburton added, “It was the weirdest thing in my twenty-four years.”

The couple didn’t get off scot-free, however. They were brought in on disorderly-conduct charges, and booked into the Multnomah County Detention Center. That sounds like some pretty ironic hand-cuffing.
